Cherokee Ranch & Castle has an estimated 450 elk roaming 3400 acres of pristine land with views from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak! A fall Tradition for many guests, our elk will be speaking the language of love and you are invited! Presentation inside the magnificent castle, and viewing off the back terrace. Bring your own binoculars, or share ours! Anyone with a spotting scope welcome to bring those as well. Learn about the mating rituals of the magnificent Elk while listening to their beautiful rutting calls. Take in the Castle's panoramic views and dazzling colors as autumn appears. Bring your own picnic to enjoy. Cash bar available.
